Ariana's Trip June 2nd

Hi everyone, yesterday I went to both the Yale Center for British Art and the Yale University Art Gallery! I went with my family and it was a lot of fun. Im sharing just some photos from my day there. Also, at the Yale Center, the workers at the visitors desk were super helpful and recommended starting on the fourth floor. If you bring kids along they give out coloring pencils and an activity book centered around Bridget  Riley's exhibits. As you can see below, my kids had lots of fun with it haha. This is my first art class EVER, but I'm realizing I prefer landscape art and contemporary art more than other styles. As I'm going through all my photos from the day, its hard to pick which one to focus on for my paper cause there really is such a great selection of art at these two museums!

  1. It can be overwhelming to see all of that art... especially in trying to see more than one museum on an outing. Follow your instincts!
